SHEETMETAL WORKER
SSAF Sheetmetal is seeking trade-qualified Sheet Metal Workers and Fabricators.
SSAF Sheetmetal requires a Trade Qualified Fabricator to carry out various duties. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the successful Sheet Metal Worker will be required to weld structural, industrial, aluminium, and stainless steel.
Position Requirements:
Highly skilled in TIG welding & metal fabrication, including sheet metal
Proficiency in MIG Welding
Interpret workshop/engineering drawings
Ability to prioritise work tasks
Able to work unsupervised
Mechanical aptitude
APPRENTICESHIP - SHEETMETAL WORKER
SSAF Sheetmetal is now taking applications for those wishing to obtain an apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work.
The successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of Sheetmetal Worker Trade over a 4-Year period.
Skills will include welding structural, industrial, aluminium, and stainless steel.

BOILERMAKER - FLUX CORE SKILLED
Flux Core, Bare Wire Welding, and general fabrication experience is a requirement of this position.
Ongoing position with a secure Defence contract in the marine sector.

QUALIFIED BOILERMAKER
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified boilermaker to join SSAF Sheetmetal as an integral part of the fabrication team.
Position Requirements:
Qualified Boilermaker tradesperson.
Ability to work unsupervised
Safety minded with good common-sense
Proactive and a strong team player
Good communication skills
Produce quality accurate work and have attention to detail.
Proof of Right to work in Australia
Experience in FLUX Core is advantagous.
